Sheriff Richard Mack Endorses Gary Cordery For Governor
Today, Republican candidate for Governor of Hawai’i, Gary Cordery, a successful businessman and entrepreneur, was endorsed by Sheiff Mack.
Sheriff Richard Mack is a former Sheriff from Graham County, Arizona. Mack is the author of several books and the founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), which brings together We The People of the United States with peace officers and sheriffs, educating all in an effort to restore America peacefully for our posterity.
CSPOA teaches sheriffs how to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution in doing their job. Mack’s association has trained 300 sheriffs in the past two years on how to enforce the Constitution, out of a total of 800 sheriffs trained since Mack started the organization in 2011. The nonprofit also supports other law enforcement officers and presents classes and materials for the public.
As sheriff, Mack filed a lawsuit against the Clinton administration to stop background checks under the Brady Bill. The case resulted in a 1997 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that certain interim provisions of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act violated the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
In a statement sent to the Cordery campaign, Sheriff Mack said:
To the People of Hawaiʻi:
My wife and I have been to your beautiful paradise over 20 times. We absolutely love your islands and the spirit of Polynesia. Several times, I have been to rallies and seminars on Oʻahu, Maui, and Kauaʻi. As much as I love your spirit of ʻohana, I regret the reputation Hawaiʻi has politically. There is so much corruption. There is only one way to solve such a huge problem; VOTE FOR DIFFERENT CANDIDATES! Stop voting for the same old politicians and instead vote for honest and honorable people. There’s a man running for Governor that will bring you the change you deserve; a man who is trustworthy and honest. Gary Cordery will be the Governor you have longed for. If you want to change Hawaiʻi and return to an honest government, then VOTE FOR GARY CORDERY. He’s the change Hawaiʻi needs! ALOHA!
In response to Mack’s endorsement, Cordery stated:

His position as Sheriff, success as an author and nation-wide acknowledgement as a voice for truth and liberty makes his support and encouragement all the more meaningful.
Contributions by a person to a candidate committee during an election period are limited to $6,000 to a candidate seeking a 4-year, statewide office.
