Hardware Hawai’i Endorses Gary Cordery For Governor
Today, Republican candidate for Governor of Hawaiʻi, Gary Cordery, a successful businessman and entrepreneur, was endorsed by Hardware Hawaiʻi President and Owner, David Lundquist.
David Lundquist is the owner and president of Hardware Hawaiʻi, one of the largest lumber and building material suppliers in the state, with three hardware stores on Oʻahu, one on Kauaʻi, and a 7-acre distribution center in Kapolei.
Hardware Hawaiʻi was founded in 1954 in Kailua by David’s parents, Dana and Mary Lundquist. In the early 70’s, David joined the business, later becoming its president and owner. Along with his family, David helped grow Hardware Hawai’i from a small-town hardware store to the well-known and successful company it is today.

Contributions by a person to a candidate committee during an election period are limited to $6,000 to a candidate seeking a 4-year, statewide office.
